The Sterpigny Castle-farm , also known as the Sterpigny Manor, is ideally located between Houffalize and Gouvy.
in the heart of the Two Ourthes Natural Park.
Renovated at the end of 2021, the "La Tour" gîte is the starting point for many walks, villages to visit and various activities (mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, adventure parks, etc.).
The cottage offers beautiful living spaces, 6 bedrooms (one of which is on the ground floor) and 4 bathrooms, as well as 4 toilets (2 of which are separate).
You will enjoy an enclosed inner courtyard with a volleyball (badminton) court, barbecue, various outdoor games, and a room under the barn converted into a games room (kitchen table and ping-pong table) and storage (bikes, etc.).
A new, large games room was added to the complex in the main building in 2023, featuring a pool table, foosball, and a relaxation area. A new room with four infrared seats in 2025.
The old-world charm is preserved in the different parts of the cottage with period tiles and floors, stone walls, doors, parquet floors, beams and fireplaces. Everything to help you spend magical evenings by a nice little wood fire.
Historically, the building is listed as a Walloon Heritage Site, and its earliest foundations date back to the Tiberian era (between 40 BC and 37 AD). The last major alteration took place in 1606. The Christ figure at the entrance, as well as the weathervanes, are also listed. Bronze sestertii dating from around 200 AD were discovered in one of the castle's cellars.
The cottage is available for leisure purposes only. Given the peace and quiet that reigns in the house, the accommodation is not suitable for student parties, stag/hen parties or other noisy gatherings.
